Whispering Pines
A quaint park near Bogue Sound, nestled among the North Carolina pines. We are right down the road from Morehead City and Emerald Isle, and just a short drive away from Atlantic Beach and Beaufort. We are open year-round and welcome nightly, weekly, monthly, and seasonal (year round) rentals. We offer over 100 full hook-up sites, all 30 amp or higher with cable, and many pull-thru. We are no longer offering tent sites, and have converted sites 18A and 49 into pop-up sites. Please see the campground map to view the changes.
The map has been edited to show the new site additions as well as the new turning lane and entrance into the campground. Also, directions from Wilmington have been changed since Camp Lejeune has recently restricted civilian thoroughfare.
A revised map has been posted showing the future expansion to the campground.
Sites 78A-85C will be available after March 2007.
